While we dither about what to do about this, the rest of the biosphere is just... changing. Thor Hanson's book "Hurricane Lizards and Plastic Squid" is a fascinating survey of how plants and animals are responsing to climate change, classified into three broad categories abbreviated to MAD: Move, Adapt, or Die.
