Laurent Bourque - Blue Hour Canadian
https://soundcloud.com/laurentbourque/matador-1

Blue Hour by Laurent Bourque invites you into an exploration of loss and new beginnings through pensive, chic piano-driven pop. The Toronto singer-songwriter presents 11 titles drenched in poetic expression anchored by shining piano melodies, sweeping synthesizers and blissful orchestral arrangements.

Former front-woman of the Balconies, Jacquie Neville, embarks on a new solo project. The Ottawa native singer/songwriter/guitarist has had her music featured in international film, television, and commercials. Her song ‘War’ was featured in a Game of Thrones commercial for Season 6. Jacquie delves deeply into personal themes ranging from working dead-end jobs, uprooting your life, love and self-discovery.

Sundays
Evangeline Gentle - Evangeline Gentle Canadian New
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oXgkRUDqdWo

Rich, sweet, and lush with vibrato. These are only a few of the unmistakable qualities that constitute Evangeline Gentle’s fervent timbre. But make no mistake; they are more than an accomplished voice – their songwriting possesses authenticity and depth as rare and unique as their own journey. Born on the Northeast coast of Scotland, Evangeline’s family lineage tells all. As a descendent of the Codona Circus family, they have live performance in their blood and were given an unequivocal name for the stage too. Queer, and passionate about social justice, Evangeline believes in the good-naturedness of people and our capabilities of growing together.
At only 23, their accolades are already accumulating at an impressive rate. They were awarded Emerging Artist at the 2015 Peterborough Folk Fest, Best Female Vocalist of the year at the 2015 Wire Awards, and have supported notable artists such as Donovan Woods, Basia Bulat, Matt Andersen, Terra Lightfoot, and more. Their debut self-titled album is set to be released by COAX records on September 13th, 2019. Evangeline Gentle lives in Peterborough, Ontario.

Evangeline Gentle’s single Sundays from their debut self-titled album produced by Jim Bryson and released by COAX Records on September 13th, 2019.

JAZZ WEATHER!

Born and raised in Ottawa, Canada, Peter has been a mainstay of the city's jazz community for almost three decades.

He has released two albums of original modern mainstream jazz. His latest recording, Alpha Moment, was released in the fall of 2015 thanks to grants from the Ontario Arts Council and City of Ottawa. In late 2010, he released his debut recording, A Boy's Journey, thanks to a grant from the City of Ottawa. His compositions and performances at the Montreal and Ottawa International Jazz Festivals have been broadcast by the CBC and Radio-Canada.

In late August 2018, Peter returned to record his third album with a stellar group of peers including Kenji Omae (tenor saxophone, Antigonish, NS), David Smith (trumpet, Brooklyn, USA), Mike Rud (guitar, Montreal), Alec Walkington (bass, Montreal) and Ted Warren (drums, Guelph, ON). The resulting album, a collection of original compositions addressing the social and political tumult of our times, is slated for wide release in 2020.
