$30.37 + 0.60 ticket fee + HST = $35 (or $40 at the door)
Jane Siberry is known and admired as one of contemporary music’s most innovative and courageous artists. In 2006, Jane relinquished most of her possessions – including her home and her musical instruments – and changed her name to “Issa”. “I felt I had to change or die,” she says. After three years of spartan living, she re-assumed the name “Jane Siberry” and returned to international touring and recording. Her latest studio recording, tentatively entitled “Consider The Lily”, is scheduled for release this year.

Feb 19, Fri, 2016 at Avant Garde,
135 1/2 Besserer St. in Downtown Ottawa
Max Kolosoff
Max has come to Canada few years from exotic Russia, remote Siberian country side. Yet, listening to artists like Bare Naked Ladies and Tragically Hip and playing alongside with lots of Canadian musicians had somewhat limited effect on him. Therefore Russian folk and sadness of cold Siberian winters are vividly present in his songs, just like European Rock traditions. So, come in for that crazy mix of Folk, Rock, Reggie and Russian chanson for the night of fun and strong emotions.
Aaron Ray Band
Based in the Ottawa Ontario area, Aaron is an eager and motivated musician and performer. He began performing music on stage as a 13 year old, playing gigs with his father at local pubs and bars. As part of a two-man show, Aaron developed his guitar-playing and vocal abilities on a wide-ranging set list.

. Aiken & Beggs - Countless Hours By You I've Spent - in MT |
https://www.facebook.com/AikenandBeggs/
Catch them every Sunday from 11 am to 2 pm at Bluebird Coffee, 261 Dalhousie, Ottawa and often at The Hintonburg Public House, on Tuesdays, 4:30 to 6:30 pm, Sonny Aiken and Mabel Beggs play American Folk and Country, focused specifically on the recordings, and traditions, prior to the end of WWII. They perform old songs, uniquely interpreted, preserving both the soul of the music, as well as the culture of the time. In February they released an album entitled, “Countless Hours By You I’ve Spent: Aiken & Beggs Play The Carter Family”, a collection of songs based on the original Carter Family recordings (1927-1941). The album was recorded live to quarter-inch tape and captures a sound and quality much like the radio segments of the late 1930’s - when the Carter Family would perform live on air, for an hour every night.
