Music For A While
Monday July 29th, 2024 with David Cavlovic
Genesis Suite

It was quite the coup for Nathaniel Shilkret to secure both Arnold Schoenberg and Igor Stravinsky to provide music for the Genesis Suite. There was just one problem though: the two composers hated each other. So, while it was a feat getting them both to compose for Shilkret, it was also quite another feat for Shilkret to make sure the composers never got together....

At least I didn't have to mediate between Schoenberg and Stravinsky.
