Nova Pon's Symphonies of Mother and Child is a truly wonderful work. I hope it gets programmed a lot. Maybe, when Pon's child hit's the years of Sturm und Drang known as "Teenage", Pon will compose a work depicting that turbulent time. I really hope she titles it "MMMMOOOOMMMMMM (eye roll)!!!"
