Chance Meeting
Friday February 18th, 2022 with Heavy Ben
Black History Month: Betty Davis, Geraldine Hunt, Kamasi Washington

Chance meeting at 6 A.M. of anti-love and a glorious tale Rest In Peace Betty Davis, who died last week at the age of 77. The legendary funk singer was too much for the confines of the music industry, her husband (Miles), and unsuspecting audiences. Geraldine Hunt will turn 77 in 2022. She had a number of funk/soul/disco hits, and we'll focus on her career after moving from the USA to Montreal in 1975 with her children Roz Hunt (part of duo Cheri) and Freddie James. Happy 41st Birthday to LA-based jazz saxophonist Kamasi Washington.
