Another exciting episode in the reading of Still Life, by Louise Penny. Things are coming together!

Last Episode we left off part way into Chapter 9. Gamache, Boudoir, and Nicole went to the Croft’s house to talk to Philippe about the evidence they found connecting him to Jane Neal’s death. They brought Claude Guimette from the Guardian’s Office. Philippe denied having anything to do with Jane’s death, and blamed his father for the death and for framing him. He showed Gamache a bruise on his arm. When asked how he got that bruise, Philippe rolled his eyes. Guimette, with sadness said, “Your dad did that to you? Philippe just responded “duh”.
