Local and visiting drag, burlesque, cabaret, and variety performers take the stage to pump up the volume and entertain at this safer nightlife event. Come dance with new friends and chosen family and enjoy cocktails, mocktails, or whatever strikes your fancy. These monthly book clubs will be following the "Reconciliation Book Club" series spearheaded by Pam Palmater - Mi'kmaq lawyer and Ryerson University professor. This time we'll be discussing Karen Stote's "An Act of Genocide: Colonialism and the Sterilization of Aboriginal Women" At the book club meeting we'll watch a few portions of Palmater's discussion of the book and then have our own discussion about it.
