Ottawa Night Market - Chinatown 2019, Chinatown Royal Gateway (Somerset st West x Cambridge st). The Capital's Biggest Outdoor Night Market returns this July to Ottawa's Chinatown. This FREE 3 day event brings a blend of Asian street food and classic Asian cuisine from chefs across Ontario. Returning are Night Market classics such as BBQ squid on a stick, Potato twist chips, Cotton candy ice cream burritos, Bubble waffles and much more Night Market favorites. Also new food creations such as Banh Mi Tacos and Korean Corn dogs from our innovative street food chefs. July 26, 10-130am. Christmas in July fundraiser for Snowy Owl, T’s @ 323 Somerset st W. We've decided to put together a Christmas in July fundraiser for Snowy Owl! This is going to be a first for T's so let's have a ton of fun with it! Taste of Africa: Food and Fashion, craft & more, NewLife Project Inc @ 2000 Thurston Dr. Come and enjoy our African cuisine and fashion whilst supporting a good cause. The event will sponsor more kids in Ottawa to participate in our Afro-Canadian craft class and our shipment of backpacks, school supplies, and accessories to Sierra Leone, Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, and Haiti. Night of Lights * Pride Edition *, Swizzles @246 Queen St. Night of Lights is Ottawa’s first women / queer friendly dance party happening every first Saturday of the month at Swizzles. Celebrate Pride early this month with us August 3rd with Drag King performances and ROXYSUNSET. Aug 9, 6-9pm, WOMXN UP - Fundraising Release Party, 377 Dalhousie St. Womxn Up is the debut creative project released from the Freedx Collective, a social enterprise created to show appreciation and acknowledgment of the community of women creatives in Ottawa. Join the all women collective that made this whole project possible, in a night of fundraising, entertainment, networking and delicious desserts and drinks!
