The space is designated as a hang out where folks can read, chat, play games, engage and organize in conversations that they wish. Harm reduction workshop for drag performers, 251 Bank St. MAX Ottawa is offering two free harm reduction workshops this July for local drag performers. This one-hour workshop will look at the ways drag performers are community leaders and provide an overview of harm reduction, how to understand substance use through a harm reduction lens and practical tools for directing people to community resources in Ottawa. Special attention will be paid to understanding drag performances as spaces of collective empowerment and activism.
