Eazy Finesse, a multi-talented female artist coming out of Ottawa, Ontario, has been doing music as a solo artist since December 2020. Starting in 2018 as 1 of the 4 members of a girl group (that no longer exists), Eazy later decided to branch off into a solo artist career. Born in Ottawa, Eazy brings a different vibe through her music. From inspirations such as Jazmine Sullivan to MoneyBagg Yo, the versatility speaks through her music! She started creating music in 2018, but really knew music was her passion long before back in 2012, when she started to write music. Her goal is to show and empower other female artists that they can just be themselves and do the things that they love with no doubts, and to not let the media be something that should control how they go about their future! Eazy is currently 22 years old, and with placements on Hot 89.9 and in the Ottawa Citizen Newspaper, has decided that she would pursue her dream of music full-time and has continued to do just that!

Lance Lorenzo is an artist from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, who has been making music since 2017. He has been passionate about all things music, being a huge Kanye West fan. The creative process of things always fascinated him and would push him to seek the fulfilling feeling of coming up with a creative idea, and executing it. He spent the year of 2017 and early 2019, working on his craft, and after releasing numerous singles throughout the summer and fall of that year, he released “müde” in March 2020, believing it to be the first project to truly mark his progression since his debut. Since then, he went on another run of releasing singles throughout the summer of 2020, followed by the release of "Vive La 808" in December 2020. He has a raw talent and high energy vibes that hits you like a truck going a hundred miles an hour, and is a dream for any producer or future collaborator to work with.

AN INTERVIEW with Myles Goodwyn of APRIL WINE! I tried not to fanboy too hard as we discussed his solo albums, his latest track ‘For Ukraine’, and April Wine’s show this Thursday at the Bronson Centre!

Multi-award-winning and Canadian Music Hall of Famer singer, guitarist, writer, and producer Myles Goodwyn is raising awareness and support “For Ukraine” with the release of his poignant new single — available now.

The leader of the multi-Platinum-selling rock band April Wine was inspired to pen the track after seeing the country’s suffering amidst attacks from Russia.

In addition to Goodwyn and the other members of April Wine being inducted into the Canadian Music Hall Of Fame in 2010, he received the prestigious East Coast Music Lifetime Achievement Award in 2008 and the SOCAN National Achievement Award in 2002.

The ‘Myles Goodwyn and Friends Of The Blues’ album earned him a JUNO nomination for Blues Recording of the Year, and won the ECMA award for Blues Recording of the Year. The following year Myles released ‘Friends of The Blues 2, ‘on the way to the album being well-received and winning another ECMA award for Blues Album Of The Year.

In 2016, he released his memoir named, Just Between You and Me, which became an instant seller on the Globe and Mail’s Non-Fiction List. His second book, Elvis and Tiger — this time a work of fiction — was published in 2018.

Myles Goodwyn’s new album, Long Pants, is available this Summer, 2022.

April Wine
It all began in Nova Scotia late in 1969. The Henman brothers, David and Ritchie, got together with their cousin Jim Henman and fellow musician Myles Goodwyn to form a band called April Wine, a name chosen simply because they were two words that sounded good together. Fifteen studio albums, three live releases, numerous compilations, a boxed set and thousands of concerts later April Wine has become enormously popular in Canada, the United States and throughout the world.

In March 2009, April Wine was inducted into the Canadian Music Industry Hall of Fame during Canadian Music Week in Toronto. They also received The Lifetime Achievement Award for being part of Canadian Music History for 40 years. In April 2010, at the Juno Awards, April Wine was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.

Moonfruits - Salt Canadian New
Living and working on the unceded, unsurrendered Territory of the Anishinaabe Algonquin Nation, Ottawa-based Moonfruits – partners Kaitlin Milroy and Alex Millaire – are bilingual makers of contemporary folk music.

A compelling and creative voice in contemporary Canadian folk music, Moonfruits has toured across Canada, the US and Europe, weaving together song and storytelling with intimacy and theatrical flair. They transport audiences with a tender and powerful live show that elevates the stuff of everyday life.

Salt, Moonfruits’ anticipated sophomore album (Fall 2022), is a lushly orchestrated, deeply personal 12-song suite that explores what it means to live, dream and raise a family in an era of climate change and deepening socio-economic inequality — it tells the stories of their families and the kinds of communities they hope to help build.
