| "Paint it All in Blue" was recorded in Ottawa at Scout Co. Productions in 2019-20 and was completed remotely during the first Covid 19 lockdown. It is a 10-song album featuring eight Allaire originals, an instrumental penned by Scott Clarke, and a cover of a song by Pittsburgh singer-songwriter Tom Breiding, with whom John has toured the US on several occasions. It is a fully acoustic album of rural-inspired folk-rock tunes, co-produced by Allaire and Ottawa’s Steve Tevlin.
Known as one of Canada’s hardest working touring acts, the pre-Covid Allaire averaged 160+ shows per year around the world. | Born in Ottawa, alt-pop artist Vi came to prominence in 2018 with her debut EP “blackwater.” The singer-songwriter spent her early childhood in Qatar and began crafting moody music from her bedroom after moving back to Ottawa in her early teenage years. Drawing her inspiration from heartbreak and hardships, her vulnerable lyrics are known to resonate deeply with others. Due to her unique sound, many say she is like no other.
