Max Webster - Universal Juveniles Canadian
Yujen feat. Keysha Freshh - s/t Canadian New
Yujen - s/t Canadian New
Yujen is a Canadian artist and producer from Ontario. His first single "Impatient" stemmed from an internet challenge of creating a song and music video during quarantine in May 2020. Recorded on a snowball microphone and filmed in a garage, "Impatient" was immediately noticed for its uniqueness and creativity in a time of minimal resources.

Born in the late 90's, Yujen's influence of Eminem, Nas, and Lupe Fiasco shows prominently in his rhyme pattern and vocal delivery. "I was always fascinated by the way guys like Em and Mos Def were able to bend words and arrange them in patterns that you typically wouldn't see in rap".

Taming Sari - s/t Canadian New
AN INTERVIEW with Alex Pellerin, Bassist for Taming Sari! The band was busy busy during lockdown, and are back with a new tune, new video, and… a band beer?

A road of mishaps and diverse life experiences made the Taming Sari guys collide and band together. Hailing from across Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic Canada, the members of Taming Sari form an eclectic and unlikely bilingual group. With a new sound to the playground, they infuse a classic rock and blues feel to modern day rock and roll. Toronto producer Ross Hayes Citrullo helped them tap into the melodic and unique voice of Warren Meredith and directed them towards what is now the Taming Sari sound.

Since the album release in fall 2019, the band has been on a roll with several opportunities to play to larger crowds, including opening for the Planet Smashers, The Lazys, performing during the intermission of an Ottawa Senators game, and being invited to take part in several events with local rock station Rebel 101.7 (e.g., Real Rock Concert Series, Rebel Real Rock Search). Taming Sari was selected by fan vote to take part in the finals of the Real Rock Search.

With the pandemic running its course, Taming Sari was still able to play a few shows last summer, namely Voodoo Rockfest. This festival featured some of the best bands of Ontario’s indie rock scene for a socially-distanced 100-person weekend event.

A line-up change in 2021 resulted in a new lead guitarist joining the band, Joe Fraser. After months of writing, Taming Sari was back in the studio in July 2021 to record new singles to be released this fall alongside their usual fun and creative music videos.
