Performances as soloist include Quebec, Winnipeg, Windsor, Ann Arbor, Jerusalem and Haifa Symphonies, and the Israeli, Cincinnati, Montreal and Manitoba Chamber Orchestras, Thirteen Strings and Ensemble Appassionata. Recital offering include the complete Paganini Caprices, and the complete Solo Sonatas and Partitas by Bach. He has collaborated with many world renowned artists. Festival and chamber series include Marlboro, Ravinia, Seattle, Ottawa, Great Lakes, and Music@Menlo. He tours extensively worldwide, and is featured in the world's most important venues, including Carnegie Hall and Wigmore Hall. On CD, Berick has recorded for the Acoma, Albany, Centaur, Equilibrium, XXI-21, Gasparo, Summit, and Helicon labels. On video, he can be seen on a BluRay dvd Paganini: 24 Caprices. Bio: Jonny Porter is a Canadian multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter. His style incorporates rock, blues, and alt-country. Jonny started his music career as the drummer in the successful Reggae/Rock band Staylefish. During his time with Staylefish, he won multiple awards at the London Music Awards, performed on the Vans Warped Tour, and opened for such acts as Down With Webster, Subb, Stomp Records All Stars, and The English Beat among many others. Following his departure from Staylefish, Jonny recorded his debut 11 track album Grave Bird which was released on Gypsy Soul Records in March 2017. During the support for that release, Jonny shared the stage with Rik Emmett of Triumph, John Wozniak of Marcy's Playground, Todd Kerns of SLASH, Spenny (Kenny vs. Spenny), Five Alarm Funk, and Ko, performed at Canadian Music Week, and Burlington Sound of Music Festival. They have released five studio albums as well as singles such as "Wicked", "Home", "Surefire", "All That You Are", "Sparkle & Shine", "You Don't Know What It's Like", "Make It Right" and "Dirty". After the release of their third album, Brand New History, the band was either on hiatus or disbanded, since vocalist Trevor Hurst started his own band, called Hurst. However, during 2007, the band reunited and started touring Canada with Alice Cooper. They released their fourth album, Ignite, in 2008.
