"A few years back I started following an Instagram blog about a friend of mine and their journey across the United States living in a Pistachio coloured 1975 Dodge camper van that had been retrofitted and filled with everything they’d need. The now popular concept - van life.

I had never really come across this, but the idea seemed thrilling ... get rid of all your day to day clutter, take only the things you need, and simply ride into the sunset and see where it takes you. As I scrolled through the Instagram feed I jotted down a few key lines and within minutes had written a tune called ‘Pistachio Van’ which I guess was my take on the Van Life adventures.

At the time I was primarily playing solo acoustic shows and slowly started to demo this song, but in my mind it was suited for a band. Fast forward to current day, with the newly formed electric lineup of Jasper Bridge, and we’ve finally recorded it, and are very excited to share its release! Without further ado here’s the video for our brand new single, Pistachio Van."

Night Sky
Raine Hamilton - Aurora in the Meadow Canadian
https://rainehamilton.bandcamp.com/album/night-sky

Resonant, acoustic chamber folk with an otherworldly edge, and a lyric presence that cuts deep. Prism-clear vocals and strings; A combination of vocal agility and power. Raine’s new album, Night Sky, tips between the earthly and the otherworldly; it is anchored in relateable lived experience, while reaching into the space just beyond, thinning the veil between here and there, affording safe passage to the rough and beautiful places. Raine’s ethereal voice and lyrics are at the forefront of these powerful and relatable tunes, written both in English and in French. She is also a charming and funny storyteller, pairing her vulnerable tunes with engaging story intros. Raine believes that music is for everyone, and that we all have something to share.
