David Keenan (Ireland)
Not just another young lad with an acoustic guitar, Keenan is the sound of Tim Buckley and Brendan Behan arguing over a few jars, while Kavanagh deals Dylan a suspicious hand of cards, and Anthony Cronin and Jack Kerouac furiously try to scribble it all

Patrick Rock: Ottawa based singer / songwriter merges the worlds of folk, acoustic pop and hip hop together whilst singing about love, loss, reflection, and heartbreak.

Miranda Boutros: Canadian artist of many avenues

Sunday, February 24th

Great Canadian Theatre Company, CKCU-FM, and CHUO-FM proudly present FemmeVox, a series of concerts and artist-led workshops celebrating established and emerging talent, and promoting mentorship among its artists.

The series kicks off in the beautiful, bright, and intimate GCTC lobby on Sunday, February 24 at 4:30 pm with award-winning Canadian music legend Lynne Hanson, and local music luminaries Malak, Tara Holloway and Sam Steel.

Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Workshop tickets are $15.

Prior to the event (2:30 to 4), Lynne leads an interactive workshop (facilitated by CKCU's Tonya Price) to discuss the craft of songwriting and the benefits of mentorship. Learn techniques and tips from one of Canada's most beloved and storied songwriters.
