Saluted by the Light Outside
Claude Munson - The Silence Came After Canadian New
Love Comes Knocking
Claude Munson - The Silence Came After Canadian New
https://soundcloud.com/claudemunson-1/saluted-by-the-light-outside

From his Facebook:
Ottawa's Claude Munson writes uninhibited impressionist-folk.
Whether drenched in crystalline synths or stripped bare, Munson's songs tackle modern life and love with radical intimacy. His soaring, gritty tenor paints vivid pictures of hard promises and ecstatic joys: atmospheric narratives that unfold, Rorschach-like.

Gillian Nicola - No Place to Call Canadian
https://gilliannicola.bandcamp.com/track/february

From her website:
The first thing that strikes listeners about Hamilton’s Gillian Nicola is the strength of her vocals. This rising singer/songwriter ranges from acoustic folk singer-songwriter to textured and electric Americana, and reflects a layering of influences and sounds. Her songwriting captures both autobiographical and outwardly inspired stories surrounded by a rich, folk-Americana musical landscape that is anchored on authenticity and honesty. After multiple tours supporting her 2016 EP, No Place to Call, Nicola spent early 2018 at the Alberta’s Banff Centre for Arts & Creativity composing her full-length debut, set for release later this year.

Tear it Up
Mosely - Echoes Canadian
https://mosely.bandcamp.com/track/tear-it-up

From their website:
Mosely’s “Echoes” is the highly anticipated follow up to their self-titled EP. With less emphasis on public appeal or current musical trends, Mosely’s newest release takes the Alt/Rock group in a more artistic direction. “We made the music we wanted to hear, the music we think needs to be made.” When they aren’t chowing down on tacos, this tight-knit group of seasoned musicians can be found fine-tuning their Halloween costumes or singing karaoke in their beloved home, Ottawa, ON.

Bend Sinister - Foolish Games Canadian

Darkness Never Stays
Taylor Angus - Darkness Never Stays Canadian
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7q5F63KrJWg

From her website:
The first thing that grabs you is the voice.
Crisp yet emotive and utterly indifferent to gravity, it glides then soars over a deceptively simple foundation of guitar and piano alternately conjuring jazzy pop and poppy jazz with a smidge of folk that’s utterly unlike anything you’ve heard before but something you instantly want to hear again. This is the music of Taylor Angus, the fast-emerging duo featuring namesake singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Taylor Angus and her partner, guitarist/songwriter Logan Brown.
