At 7:15 we speak with Liv and Anita of The Lifers
Annie Sumi's website, Facebook Page, and Youtube Channel
The Lifers are a power folk collective fronted by sisters Liv and Anita Cazzola from Guelph Ontario. The six-piece straddles tender textures and explosive energy, charming audiences with their unpredictable storytelling and dynamics. Liv and Anita's intertwined voices are nested in cello, accordion, upright bass, percussion and guitar.
Annie Sumi is an acclaimed, ethereal-folk musician from southern Ontario that breathes the subtleties of the great Canadian Landscape into her songs and stories. Her songs are formed by the quiet musings of passers-by, wind-cast conversations, and open eyes for small wonders.
The Wildflower Tour will feature the The Lifers and Annie Sumi as separate, yet intertwined acts.

The Jimmy Tri-Tone Band - s/t live in the studio - BC 2:54
After 7:30, The Jimmy Tri-Tone Band joins us in the studio. It's been too long since we've had these two in to play live and we're all really looking forward to it!!
They are performing May 6 at the Rainbow with Doc Yates and Damien Maze
James and Randelle both grew up in the small town of Almonte, Ontario. Years later, the two finally met and that was it. James, sporting a full beard (and I mean full) was nicknamed "Jimmy Tri-Tone" by Randelle for the three colours it seemed to flaunt. The name stuck and they formed The Jimmy Tri-Tone Band. They now reside in a small countryside house near White Lake, Ontario and spend most of their time making music, gardening, cutting wood and making maple syrup.
