Friday, Twice on Tuesday, a pop punk band from Quebec City are at LIVE on Elgin with 4 other Ottawa based punk bands: AHRF, Lees Avenue, Pitch Black Progress and Nebraska Saturday, Pony Girl and GIanna Lauren perform at the Blacksheep Inn as part of their East coast tour, that show gets going at 8:30 and is $10

This is her first single, "Robin's Egg Blue," which won the Searchlight Songwriting Competition hosted by Jason Wilbur, lead guitarist for John Prine. Now four years later, she is working on releasing her debut album, Old Town. She has a kickstarter campaign running for it and she'll be bringing those tunes and more all the way from Tulsa, Oklahoma to the Avant Garde on Wednesday, April 26th.

The founders of Shoebox Recording studio, Bryan Ruckstuhl and Jonathan Chandler (Amos the Transparent), had a few spare an album happened.

We speak with Jonathan by phone,,,he's on Dad duty in the morning so joining us in the studio would be a challenge.
