"Dorothee Elmiger (born 1985) is the most promising young writer in Switzerland. She has received three Swiss Book Prize nominations for books, including 'Schlafgänger' (Shift Sleepers. Seagull Books, Kollata, London UK. and NY City, 2019, translated by Megan Ewing) that challenge literary conventions. Her latest work 'Aus der Zuckerfabrik' (From the Sugar Factory) was on the shortlist for the German Book Prize 2020."
