American BreakBeat Poetry — now and then. With a feature sound track by QURASHI ALI LANSANA about the hip hop culture of his youth to which he contributed as a poet, writer and editor. He has published eight books of poetry and numerous anthologies. As an Associate Professor of English / Creative Writing with various academic institutions Qurashi Ali Lansana has published 'Our Difficult Sunlight: A Guide to Poetry, Literacy & Social Justice in Classroom & Community'.
