As usual for the post-Christmas episode, today is my alphabetical look back at albums that were released or came our way in 2017. This year I've decided to concentrate the 60+ new albums down into one show. This involved tough decisions and some good material was left on the cutting room floor. That said, these are my essential records for 2017. Along the way through I'll be identifying my gold star releases and honourable mentions (tagged GS and HM, below) that really stand out from this year's impressive pack.
