We celebrate a great singer, story-teller through song... and producer and overall amazing musician, who passed away on January 19th. But who left us with many great songs to continue to sing, dance and romance to along the rest of our journey.
Leighton Keith "Pluto" Shervington was born on August 13th, 1950 and passed away last month at the age of 73.
We touched on many of his notable hits during this tribute show tonight... songs like "Ramgoat Liver", "Your Honour", "I Man Born Ya", "Laughter In The Rain", "Your Kiss Is Sweet" and many more that we featured on this show.
Come with me on a journey to enjoy and celebrate the life of Pluto Shervington.. who we can do no less than to bow and honour him for his unmistakable sound, music and contribution to Jamaican and Caribbean music.
Tonight we celebrate and say thanks to Pluto for giving us his part of the gift of music. I hope you enjoy the show and for a moment.. think of how less life would be without these songs to accompany us along our own travels through life.. the lows adn the highs.
