A few people called and left messages saying that the end of the show brought them to tears.. and i guess that is kind of a good thing.. tears i mean. Because it says something about the impact that these people have had on us. If there was no impact.. nothing to miss or nothing to treasure.. then tears wouldn't fall. So I am thankful to have had people in my life that now.. when it is time to say good bye... cause those feelings to come to the surface.
Since 2014, the start of this show begins with something I think we may take for granted at times... the fact of... how could any one of us cope.. without love. And truly, we would not make it past a few days old.. if that... if that was the case. So, along with me... missing my Aunt and my Uncles and my Mom and my Pops etc.... I hope you had time to think of and reflect on the people in your lives that even though they may be gone.. their impact, influence and love... remains with you today. I heard someone say the other day... Grief is part of love BUT love outlasts grief.. in my opinion. So to you missing someone.. to my family missing another integral family member and to all of us who have experienced such great loss. It really means.. we had such a great win... having these people in our lives.. not frivolously.. but with real meaning and real impact. Let's follow in that tradition and be a "win" to those we know and love and even those we don't know... while we have life to do so.
