Thank you for tuning into Vintage Love on this first episode for the month of March 2019. Winter hangs on and tightens its grip but sure signs that spring is around the corner are alive and well. One, the clocks spring forward next week and two, the other day I actually felt the suns rays and felt warmth... it is coming!! Not to mention the days are slowly getting longer. Come on spring... I am rootin' for ya to come quick! Although it seems like... last weekend 5, 6, 7 degrees above zero and now back into the frozen tundra. One step forward and two steps back. :-( Oh well.. much as is life. In any event, this positive hoping led to the first song tonight by Ernest Ranglin with, "Summer Time Rock Steady"... willing it to come. haha From there on tonights show, we heard from Janet Kay, Estelle from her album 'Lovers Rock", some "Therapy" coming at you from Gramps and India Arie. Samantha Rose with a lovely version of 'Words" Phyllis Dillon, who was thoroughly enjoyed by Hyacinth.. which put me into a scramble to find the Dennis Alcapone version following. And we ended off the show with some Webber Sisters and Sylvia Tella. Thank you very much for tuning in tonight and/or for coming back and checking out the show On Demand.
