Great Show!
Why do some listeners think that O'Shea should play only the kind of tunes they like to hear? What about us, who like to hear a variety of "timeless vintage tunes"? The listening audience of the VL show is wide-ranging, and therefore the host has to incorporate a variety of tunes on the playlist.

Hey everyone, thank you for tuning into Vintage Love and for making each Sat. night even more fun with the banter that we go on with here. Often jokes, sometimes serious, playful, some requests but all in all a respectful dialogue that I and I hope you, enjoy. I don't know what happened here after the show on Saturday night but I don't think the comments from 'Let love reign' such as telling 'I believe' they are the Ghost in the town and to go back to where they crawled out from. Further telling them to rest in peace... I find these comments to be disturbing and certainly don't follow what we try to promote here on Vintage Love.. which is to foster an environment of love and kindness to ourselves and to each other. If we really were to Let Love Reign, then I think these comments would not have been made. Maybe they are regretted now.. I do hope so but I could not go without responding to this particular dialogue. 'I believe', I love you and I don't want you to crawl anywhere.. unless it is into the most luxurious, feather soft bed for a good nights sleep. Beyond this, I hope you rest in peace when the time comes... hopefully many many years full of joy, from now. "Let love reign", I love you too. And I hope no one ever says to you these same words. I have had these words spat to me and although experience isn't necessary to understand the hurt such words can cause... I do know the feeling of someone wishing my existence to end. So I ask you and all of us... to be careful of the words we use when we talk to each other.. even here where we really don't know who each other is. Words can still cause considerable damage. Let us be the other voice... where hate and pain has become so common place in this world... Let us be the voice and the temperament of LOVE. I wish to each of you and to all the Vintage Lovers of the world..... true love! As the intro to Vintage Love says weekly... how could we cope... without Love? Ponder that for a moment and let me know.

Slight mis-interpretation
O'Shea, in this context- 'Rest in peace" = "live in peace". It's like saying - "May the peace of God rest upon you" Similar to:- "Rest in love" = "Live in love". Anyway, very uplifting speech above!

I think I have to disagree with you on that one. With statements like.. you are the ghost in town, you look like one, go back to where you crawled from.... and you must be haunted or tormented.. These I don't think were "positive" so that is why my take. Context in that message does not lend itself to the interpretation of a "loving" warm message. Maybe you should read it again... I cant see how one could come to the conclusion that it is positive friendly greeting as you propose. .
