Island tunes!

(I saw the quote on last week's Int. Menu of VL) Actually I was just at NMAAHC this past summer. It's an amazing place! A Jewel/Treasure trove in the heart of DC. I was happy to see a pic of Marcus Garvey. The pic of Michael Jordan looks so real. I'm sure you loved the 5th floor - Arts and Entertainment!

The planning of the different floors at NMAAHC was quite strategic. Slavery & Segregation on the bottom floors to all our accomplishments on the top floors. Makes you want to sing and dance by the time you reach the top floor. It's a journey back in time to see how far we've come. Definitely shows Perseverance.

Ya.. of course... I am a big football fan so I did watch. My team used to be the Vikes... but that has faded over the years. I would say.. with the 4 teams left, I want the Vikings to win but my prediction would be Jacksonville over the Pats (I know, I know- Brady) and The Eagles over the Vikes. They always seem to find a way to snatch defeat from victory.. almost did on Sunday too if it wasnt for that miracle. But we will see. I think though.. Philly vs. Jacks for the Superbowl in Feb. although part of my heart.. the left ventricle is still with Minny. :-)
