In the worst of days.. there are other footsteps along the way. With this being the first show back from the CME Awards,.. and many of you wondering what the outcome was... well I am happy to say that your Vintage Love pulled out the upset. YES!!! We won... woo hoooo!!! I dont even remember much after.... "And the winner for Top Radio program in the genre of Reggae is....? And all I heard was The Vvvvv and I could but only shake my head. Wow!!! So incredible. Thank you to all of you who voted for Vintage Love... amazing amazing amazing!! To those who have donated over the years... to those who have listened and told friends about the show over the years.. and to those who I have never heard from and would have no idea that you listen.... THANK YOU! This show is for you and it is my love letter to you all... my Vintage Love family... who have been with me in increasing numbers since February two thousand and four. Thank you so much. Much respect to G98.7 and The Delroy G. Show as well as The Morning Ride on CIUT FM in Toronto. Great shows I listen to myself. I would also like to thank the ones whom I look up to... in no particular order... Pappa Richie, Mikey Wizdom and Junior Smith.
