Welcome to the annual Christmas special for this year. I had a few requests to play not all Christmas music so to try to keep everyone happy I sprinkled in some Lovers Rock etc. I hope you enjoyed the show as much as I enjoyed planning it and bringing it to you. I truly wish each of you and your families and friends a very Merry Christmas. I hope it is one of those holidays that will imprint the most fantastic of memories so that you never forget Christmas 2013. Although the gifts, giving and receiving are great... remember the real reason we pause at this time of year to celebrate. It is about love, hope and redemption. White Christmas
As kids in JA, we use to sing "Dreaming of a white Christmas" (It's just so funny, because we never have a white Christmas in the Caribbean!:-)

Lets see... I remember one Christmas many moons ago.. spent in Nassau, Bahamas. It was a great time spending it with new friends and Junkanoo... amazing. Had a great time. Did you mention Sorrel????? You tryin to kill me?!?!?? You know that is my favorite (well one of the many) haha :-)

Love that Jacob Miller tune!! I use to be scared of Junkanoo. Those were scary customes for a kid. I'll have to check about the origins of Junkanoo and the relevance to Christmas!!

I also remember one time as a little little boy.. determined to meet Santa. I brought my pillow and blankee and slid under the couch.. I thought I was nocturnal then.. which I am.. but I couldnt fight sleep when it came for me. I woke up to see boxes and gifts and more.. I was SOOOOO mad... I stormed to my room and could not get over my failure to stay awake.. took awhile for the gifts to change my mood... crazy kid!! :-)

Yes, it's amazing how much those chimney sweepers charge, just to scrape the inside of the chimney. But I guess it's a risky job climbing up on snow-topped roofs.

Thank you... I am glad you enjoyed the show on Saturday night. Actually that is 2 teddy bears..ones arm around the other as they watch the fire. I'll be sure to have the fire out with lots of time to cool by time Mr. Santa comes to my house.

A few years ago, a group of Artists in the US, came together and sang the song - "Tears are not enough". Geez, O'Shea...if you have this song, it would be nice to hear it on your next show. Or even the song..."Do they know it's Christmas time at all" Thx
