Happy Friday Drivers family and welcome to this week’s show!
A nice mixed bag of mostly recent releases on offer in today’s broadcast mostly revisiting some of my most recent acquisitions to feature tunes that have been overlooked and need to be shared.
As the show title suggest it’s “carte blanche” so we’ll be going through a variety of genres throughout the show while still sticking to the “Friday Drive” vibe of funky, groovy, soulful and jazzy global grooves.
Kicking things off with a somewhat mellow vibe in the first hour to unwind you all from the first week of fall and wind you all up for whatever your weekend plans you have in your agendas.
I know it’s early but CKCU’s annual funding drive is quickly approaching and wanted to remind you all that we’re definitely going to be needing your support once again this year in the hopes of repeating and hopefully exceeding last year’s successes.
