Happy Friday Drivers!
CKCU is back at it with our annual funding drive and today is launch day!
We’re trying to raise $165 000 in this year’s campaign which is one third of the stations annual budget to keep the station operating.
Gonna try to have some fun showcasing what the Friday Drive is about by playing some favourites from over the years in this two hour slot while trying to convince you all that CKCU and Friday Drive are a worthwhile cause for your hard earned dollars.
My show costs approximately $5600 per year to broadcast and have set the lofty goal of trying to raise $5000 again this year.
Here’s the break down:
By my calculations all it will take is 200 of you helping out with a $25 one time donation amounting to less than a $0.50/ week (subscription) to reach my goal and help to contribute to the station goal of $165,000!
