Interviews with Jacques Legault about creating music as King B00 (conducted by Fiona Smith) and with Adam Sturgeon of Status/Non-Status

Today, Fiona Smith joins us with an interview she conducted with Jacques Legault who records under the name King B00. The interview was done in the early summer when they were both still in high school and it focusses on how Jacques got into creating music and his creative process. He also shares how the pandemic helped push him into exploring musical creativity and how he hopes to pursue a career in music making. Fiona also brings us several King B00 songs to listen to. He also talks about a song When They Were, which was written while anticipating the arrival of his child, and explores the idea of allowing children the freedom to discover their own identities.
