Today we revisit two of my favourite interviews from 2021 about two of my favourite albums of the year. We open by going back to my interview with former CKCU host/producer Mick Kern talking about the album he produced during the lockdowns of 2020 in his apartment in Toronto. He took on the name The Ring Shepherds and released an album entitled Habitual Orbits, which essentially documents the collapse of his major a few years ago. He does so in songs that tap into many pop-rock genres as he explains in the interview.
