An interview with John Allaire about his new album Paint It All In Blue

Today we check in with a stalwart member of the Ottawa music scene and an old friend, as we reconnect with John Allaire to talk about his new group and his new album. John has been recording and playing music on the Ottawa scene for 37 years (it's the anniversary of his first performance this week) and he's recorded and performed as part of the Town Cryers and as a solo artist. He hooked up with a group of (mostly) new musicians to create an acoustic, folky vibe on his new album Paint It All In Blue. He's called the group The Fi-Delities and he tells us how they came together and how he captured this sound on the new album. We talk about the themes of the songs and generally have a good time working through most of the songs on the album. Check out and purchase the new album here: https://johnallaire.bandcamp.com/album/paint-it-all-in-blue Remember to support the work of independent artists like John because they certainly don't make any money from those big streaming services!! Stay well.
