Interviews with Tony Turner. John Allaire and Julian Taylor missed his call time.. oops.

We talk to one of my heroes from 2015 - Tony Turner who recorded Harperman and was suspended from his job with the government of Canada for taking a stand against the Harper Government in song. Tony talks about the song and about his new album Love and Other Attractions. He will be releasing the album on Sunday Jan 24 with a special gig at the Gladstone Theatre. John Allaire dropped in to talk about his weekly gig at Quinns at 1070 Bank Street. Each week features a special guest with John and this week it will be Slo' Tom. Then listen to 10 minutes of nuttiness as Julian Taylor didn't make his call at 5:45. (He called to explain later that a sick daughter had distracted him and here on the Guest LIst we know that kids come first!!) We had 2-3 songs playing on too many open windows at one time and then managed to squeeze in a 2 minute interview with one of the members of the Minor 9s as the band is opening for Julian Taylor at Zaphods on Saturday night (Jan. 23.) Houston we have a problem. Get out and see some live music this week.
