GREAT interviews today!! Rich Terfry is Buck 65 (and the host of Radio 2 Drive over on CBC!) His latest album Neverlove is a pretty dark and at times haunting look at love's ending - and it has some interesting bright spots as well. Rich talks about this very personal album and his upcoming show at the NAC on Saturday, NOvember 22. Coming up this weekend, The Harpoonist and the Axe Murderer brings a fantastic blend of blues, rock and soul to the Rainbow Bistro (Saturday, NOvember 15th.) If you dig the Black Keys or the White Stripes and their rooted approach to explosive nouveau blues you'll love these guys! Finally, Ottawa's own Lynne Hanson has released a stellar new album called River of Sand. She will be unveiling the new album at the National Arts Centre on Friday, November 14th. Her rootsy mix of folk, blues country and rock is the perfect blend and stands up as true example of Americana. Her voice is stronger than ever on this new collection of songs.
