The Stewart Park Festival in Perth kicks off tonight with a sold-out concert by Matt Anderson, followed by three days of music and workshops. There's something for everyone and admission is free - donations gratefully accepted. Stewart Park Festival Manager Sandy Irwin called in to give us the big picture. World fusion band, The Sultans of String are making several appearances in the Ottawa area over the next 10 days. The Sultans of String perform Friday and Saturday at the Stewart Park Festival; Saturday night at the Branch Restaurant in Kemptville; and July 25 and 26 in Ottawa at the Chamber Music Festival. Sultans of String violinist and band leader Chris McKhool took time out from his sound check in New York state to call in and chat.
