Detroit powerhouse singer Thornetta Davis has won too many awards to mention. Beloved in the Motor City, she was inducted into the Detroit Hall of Fame in 2001. Thornetta Davis is bringing her band to Bluesfest 2014 for two shows, one on the River Stage Friday at 7 p.m. and the second on the Black Sheep Stage Saturday at 8 p.m. Catriona Sturton is a harmonica player who writes songs, sings and accompanies herself on guitar. She joined Janis in CKCU's Studio today to play live and talk about her upcoming Bluesfest concert with John Carroll, this Saturday at 5:15 pm in the Barney Danson Theatre. Catriona has promised to come back soon and give us all a harmonica lesson over the radio.
