Bernard Lubat is well known musician in France but with the characteristic that he insists to be a provincial musician. This is different from being a local musician which mushc of musicians in Canada suffer from. He tours both France and the rest of Europe wherever they understand French because he is active both as an instrumentalist (percussion including the most unusual found objects, piano and accordion) and a carrier of the spoken language, both French and Gascon. Tonight we will sample his two most recent recordings one piano solo and the other one in duo with Sylvain Luc.
