The clean feed label is a small Portuguese label devoted to Free Jazz. Over the years it has accumulated a vast collection of lesser known musicians. However, once in a while some Free Jazz big name comes through. This is the case of Joe McPhee, otherwise known to be recording for HatHut, here, recorded in 2014 in Antwerp, Belgium with a Norwegian rhythm section and teaming up with another tenor player, American John Dikeman. This combination produces the upmost extremism of Free Jazz.
