Johannes Welsch’s world of gongs
Gongs are the most intriguing traditional Asian music instruments. They come in an infinite number of shapes and their sound covers the widest spectrum beyond imagination. Percussionist, recording engineer and producer Johannes Welsch has accumulated a vast collection of gongs and used them to produce extensive symphonies of sound. In anticipation of his concert on Friday April 24th at 8pm at the Dunrobin Sonic Gym, he will be in the studio this evening to share his passion for gongs with us.
