Wayne Shorter on Blue Note (part 2):
In this second part program, we will be featuring Wayne Shorter’s last six recordings for the Blue Note label, covering 1965 to 1970. We will notice his continuing interest in the hard bop style, along with a desire to explore new musical venues based on daring experiments which will build on his work with Miles Davis and lead him to join a group such as Weather Report for example
