August 28th, 2013, is the both the 58th anniversary of the murder of Emmett Till, in Money, MS, and the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom where Martin Luther King delivered his now famous 'I Have a Dream' speech. Tonight on Roots and Rhythms, host Stephen Neale plays some music related to both of these events and also some music that was inspired by the Civil Rights movement.
