With Maria Teresa, we discussed how she managed to triumph over her trauma and that we should normalize showing vulnerability in the appropriate setting. Speaking about trauma, I talked to another rape victim by the name of Steven Wilson. We discussed his journey through his sexual assault and his bipolar disorder. We also talked about the impact of having a healthy social circle of people that you could talk to when things get out of hand so they could help you get back on your feet.
