Warne Marsh was one of the most prominent students of Lennie Tristano. He studied with Tristano from 1949 to 1952. Marsh developed his own style of phrasng and improvisation that were outside that of time and space. Today we hear Marsh playing with Lee Konitz in 1955 and Pete Christlieb in 1978.
