We play two records recorded just over three years apart while Dexter was living in Europe. In the first hour Jim offers up Dexter Gordon's Blue Note album ONE FLIGHT UP, recorded in Paris on June 2, 1964. In the second hour Ron features Dexter Gordon's Black Lion record THE MONTMARTRE COLLECTION VOL. 1, recorded July 20, 1967 live in concert at the Montmartre Jazzhuis in Copenhagen.
