Music For A While
Wednesday November 23rd, 2022 with David Cavlovic
SEEN

The Shmenge brothers, and all the polka shows my parents watched, aside (most of which seem to have come from Hamilton, Ontario), the accordion is a great instrument that is often derided. Well, I say if you haven't heard a virtuoso Romanian or Serbian accordionist, you haven't lived! In the meanwhile, from the classical music realm, I have what I consider one of the greatest modern works to be composed for the accordion of all time to play for you: Polish-Canadian composer Norbert Palej's SEEN. I guarantee you will want to hear this work more than once.
