🎃 CKCU SPOOKTACULAR FUNDING DRIVE EPISODE 🎃

It is officially the CKCU finding drive, and to celebrate, we've put together a playlist of spooktacularly frightening tunes for the Halloween season from this side of Turtle Island (Canada). I'll be spinning Maledictus Sound and their song Monsters Cocktail from 1968. Early psych, experimental, freakout! Plus, the Hollow Weiners 7" compilation from 1984 featuring 5 eerie tunes from BC's Bags of Dirt, Scissors, Enigmas, Tartan Haggis, and Stab 'Em In The Abdomen. I also play some 1980s punk and garage rock from The Tumours, Deja Voodoo, Zellots, The Curse, and The Gruesomes. Lastly, from 1971 out of Saint John, New Brunswick, some early moog/electronic from Mort Garson and his song The Evil Eye. You can catch The Gruesomes this Saturday at House of TARG. Blaster Caps is also hosting two amazing CKCU finding drive rippers, both at House of TARG: Nov 4th: Alienator from Portland, Oregon. Awesome crossover thrash/hardcore punk.
