Yes, that describes tonight’s show. I might never have heard a lot of these artists if not for the Mighty 93! There’s nothing like being outside on a hot summer day/night listening to great music. So glad it’s pretty much back to normal.

This Island Earth meets the Groove meets Reggae In The Fields. I certainly can imagine walking around from one stage to the next hearing all kinds of music. The best thing to do is to go in ‘blind’ with an open mind—you will be pleasantly surprised.

What kinds of food would you find at WOMAD? Would it be international cuisine? ‘Festival Food’ is part of the experience.

Food at WOMAD is much in keeping with the range of music and cultures you'll hear. So if you're hungry enough try a bit of anything and everything, and hopefully you'll be pleasantly surprised by that too! Certainly Caribbean, Indian, Thai, but also usually lesser known cuisines like South Africa, and Far Eastern foods.

Last question here—a lot of festivals are making people feel welcome, including those with disabilities. I wonder if WOMAD would be accessible to all. This has been a great show as always—a nice musical trip around the world.

Accessibility Shelley: difficult for me to answer that one with certainty, but I would think so, as far as is practicable by the geography of the site, which is in the countryside. It''s a very family-friendly festival , and so it needs to be suitable for children/adults on wheels so to speak.
