Hi Shelley The carousel roundabout was graceful , but getting a bit more adventurous were the Flying Chairs (chairs on chains on a roundabout style machine) were a thrill, whizzing around and sailing you up in the air!

Flying Chairs? We used to call them ‘Swings’ but they were the same thing. Music sounded really interesting from that ride. Rollercoasting sounds like a song that kids would sing in the car on the way to the fairground —-over and over and over and over again — to drive their parents crazy.

Believe me, singing songs about roller coasters on a bus would be tame compared to some of the things you hear on public transit. (Some of which I dare not repeat here). As for this and other CKCU shows getting more recognition I quite agree—the Mighty 93 is just filled with audible gems that are curated by REAL PEOPLE for REAL LISTENERS!
